Tickets are now available for the 19th edition of the LEN European Short Course Championships to be staged in Copenhagen, Denmark, 13th-17th of December next year. The event will take place in the brand new Royal Arena offering a unique display of European top swimming.
Being the first sporting event in Royal Arena, the championships offer a thrilling stage for the best swimmers in Europe to battle for the titles. We are crossing our fingers for great participation from Danish and European swimming fans alike, who are in for a swimming treat throughout all five competition days.
Tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster, and you will find a long range of different options for whatever suits your calendar best. There will be tickets for single sessions (prelims and finals), day tickets, weekend tickets and partout tickets for the five full days. Ticket prices for finals sessions (adults) start at 17 Euro to 54 Euro.
Head of event, Mads Bang Aaen, says:
- We are very pleased to release tickets for the LEN European Short Course Championships at this early stage. With more than a year until the event, we are hoping to see swimming fans from all over Europe secure their tickets so that we can look even more forward to next year.
More tickets to be released
Due to the technical preparations for the two temporary pools in Royal Arena, seating is yet to be fully arranged. For that reason, more tickets will go into sale later on, as the outlining of the pool deck and the stands are clarified. We expect around 6,000-7,000 spectators per session for the event.
Partnering the European Short Course Championships are the European Swimming Federation, LEN, The Danish Swimming Federation, Sport Event Denmark, Wonderful Copenhagen, the City of Copenhagen, Capital Region and Hovedstadens Swimming Club.
