LEN European Short Course Championships will be a sight to behold
The spectators at the LEN European Short Course Championships will have more than Europe’s fastest from one pool end to another to look forward to when Royal Arena in Copenhagen opens its doors from the 13.-17. of December.
The organizers have made a deal with ‘Great Big Events’(GBE) who are a global leader in sport presentation. Accordingly spectators can expect an extraordinary show presentation when the LEN European Short Course Championships is held as the first sporting event ever in Royal Arena.
Among other events GBE have produced this summer’s FINA World Aquatics Championships, last year’s FINA World Swimming Championship in Canada and the LEN European Aquatics in London as well as the swimming competitions for four out of the last five Olympic Games.

Giant bigscreen
To make sure that GBE’s abilities in introducing the swimmers and the general show presentation at the LEN European Short Course Championships will be the best it can be a big screen – probably the largest one ever at a Danish event – has been rented. At the end of the pool the 25 meters wide big screen which is as wide as the pool itself will be placed.
The screen will play a vital role in the introduction of the swimmers and not least at the medal ceremonies.
Earlier it was announced that the famous Danish journalist and sports commentator Peter Falktoft together with a international partner will guide the spectators through the finals form the speaker box. So people can expect world class swimming combined with a show experience beyond the ordinary when the LEN European Short Course Championships takes place in Royal Arena in December.
